The October 2024 introduction described LifeSaver as a way to manage equipment power around a venue’s activity. Its purpose is to reduce unnecessary operation while preserving the experience people came to see.
A configured system can use schedules, buttons or suitable occupancy inputs to select permitted operating states. The design should establish which equipment may change state, which functions must remain available and how the system returns to readiness.
Where the equipment supports it, selected areas can use economy modes, reduced levels or a controlled shutdown during quiet periods. Warm-up time, visitor arrival, safety requirements and the equipment’s recommended power cycle all matter. Any energy saving or financial payback should be calculated from the actual installation and measured use. Equipment-life effects should not be promised as a universal result.
