Web 3.0/4.0/5.0 - New Patent-Pending Technology

Web 3.0/4.0/5.0 - New Patent-Pending Technology

The November 2025 article explored a direction for personalization in which people could carry their preferences, choose what to share and receive coordinated media across a venue. Its museum, attraction and destination examples were application scenarios. They should be evaluated against the functions actually implemented in a proposed system.

The foundation and the next questions

Mad’s current technology family includes recognition, content personalization, media delivery and control. QuickSilver® provides the computer-based foundation, with selected AV++® capabilities configured for a project. Existing installations first need a QuickSilver retrofit of the playback and control foundation before those capabilities are added.

The later work asks how a visitor’s own device or personal AI could supply a limited, permitted set of preferences. The venue would need to establish what it may receive, for what purpose, for how long and with which route for withdrawal. The terms Web 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 describe directions in this essay, rather than a verified Mad interoperability certification.

What the filing perspective explores

Speech prosody, emotion-related adaptation and spatial interfaces require careful definition and qualification. A signal does not establish a person’s feelings with certainty. A proposed privacy method does not by itself demonstrate that every integrated component follows that method.

An illustrative family visit might combine a shared show with different authored language or depth options on personal devices. Cross-venue continuity, smart-glasses presenters or cooperation with a visitor’s personal AI add further interfaces and governance questions. Each should be identified as demonstrated, being integrated or on the roadmap according to the actual project.

The current WorldModel™ architecture provides a reference for shared context, authority and audit. It is defined at WorldModel.global. Publishing that architecture is distinct from implementing every pattern in a production venue.

Read patent status alongside engineering scope

The current IP record distinguishes issued patents and pending work. Hatter and WorldModel each carry the description Patent pending. The relevant claims and status need to be considered for the particular technology and use; this article makes no claim to control the whole category of personalization.

For a partner, the useful discussion is concrete: the behavior to deliver, the technology to license, the integration required and the evidence that will establish readiness.
